I've shoveled too much snow in my real life to want to rush into winter in my second life, so I've been putting off going to a winter build. Today I was finally ready to bite the bullet and go and I saw in the destination guide that Inspire Space Park had a winter build.
Oh heck yeah!
I am a huge champion of imagination and creativity and I feel like the Inspire Space Park has embodied that spirit as well as anyone over the last gazillion years it's been here, so couldn't teleport fast enough to get there and help turn others on to this great place, or, if you already know about it then maybe the winter scene will surprise you, it did me!
So I landed and I was doing my normal flubbing around the place and there were a few people dancing and I ran into one of the owners, Bonny Greenwood, who is incredibly nice and helpful and completely in tune with the creativity and imagination vibe. We got to talking, I know this comes as no surprise to those that know me haha.
The winter scene is especially beautiful not just because it looks gorgeous, but because it marks hope and beauty returning after loss. One of the founders and owners of Inspire, Grafx Newbold, recently passed away. Inspire was bedecked in mourning and now is reborn with this beautiful new fallen snow.
There is a beautiful remembrance garden for Grafx and the new owners; Bonny, Jamilah Rossini & Delain Canucci, are very in-tune with keeping the place in the original spirit of Inspire. I was truly excited to see the snow falling here and feel like SL's iconic space park is in good hands.
The other places- the garden and forest and such, are not wintery, just the main area, so you can still meditate without snowboots in many locations of the park :)
I was VERY happy that destination guide sent me here today, and I look forward to going back happily to Inspire Space Park as I have for years. Here's a SLURL, check it out!!
When in doubt, Frogmore
I have been struggling with another story, hahaha SLuggling I guess, and have tried to write it several times only to realize I don’t know what I want to say and so this poor space goes unused and my Flickr sits idle while smoke pours out my ears. …

Or actually I shop
But nonetheless I needed to get my groove back and none of the places I found were getting me excited about SL photography and I didn't have a story to write or a picture to take and I thought, why don't I go to Frogmore.
It's actually a joke with a friend of mine since everyone already knows how gorgeous it is that when I get stuck she says "Blog Frogmore" and we laugh and look for another place because, everyone knows Frogmore and it is visually delicious.
But then, I needed a beauty break and realized maybe new readers haven't found it yet and here we are now.
I popped by there twice tonight, and I have to send a thank you out to whatever muse made Frogmore come to mind because this place is exactly what I needed.
ALL the sightlines are amazing, it's just lovely from all angles. Shoutout to Terry Fotherington and Tolla Crisp for bringing us this gorgeousness. If you need a break from the fast lane and want to spend some time soaking up beauty, go here. SLURL and Flickr group.

Paradiso is super cool because it has several different and very well articulated areas- cyber-tech, fantasy, landscapes, café life, and so on. Each area is plenty spacious enough for some great pics and even if you're not a photographer the place has a wonderful vibe to hang out in.
Best part, I ran into two of my fave flickr artists here so you might run into some as well!

Beaute de Bordeaux is gorgeous and what a wonderful gift to the Second Life Community! Lots of great spots for roleplay, hanging out, pics and general deep soaking in beauty.
There are a million great spots here for pics, literally, it's a very clever layout mixing city and country and beautiful sky and mountains all around, not unlike Bordeaux and the French countryside it draws from.
I wandered the grounds and took a zillion pictures and I know I will struggle to pick just one for Flickr. You should too, it's a great build by TONAL and I hope she gets a Flickr Groop soon to show off in!!
Here's the SLURL, two regions of gorgeous await you!
