Without exception, I get more requests to do a bikini haul than any other thing I have done with this blog and it makes me laugh every time one of you asks for it so here we go, the return of Bikini Haul!! ♥
And OMG what an adventure we had!
Ok for readers who are new here-
Bikini Haul is a feature we used to do on the SLuggle in which we model bikinis while hauling freight doing the GTFO game. GTFO is "get the freight out" and it's a HUD based transportation game.
I was using GTFO to learn my way around Bellisseria back in the day and thought it would be funny to combine that with the cheesecake of Youtubers who do "bikini haul" videos to model their bikini collections for views and The SLuggle's Bikini Haul was born.
A whole bunch of my friends have had to put up with this, and today was Delacey's turn in the barrel.
She is wearing the Homkary bikini by Glitzz which is one of my favorites too. I am wearing Annerli by Nerido. I wasn't sure I would like the frilly part but once it was on and I was doing my thing it looked great. I love both of these bikinis.
Thus we set out for adventure.
GTFO assigns a code for almost every vehicle in Second Life, and you find the correct code for your plane or boat or truck and scribble it on a notecard, drop it in the vehicle and off you go! Wear the HUD and it will direct you to the nearest GTFO hub, where you can pick up stuff to deliver.
I know my way around "Old Belli" like crazy because I've boated or flown all of it many many times. I've boated and flown up into the stilts and chalets as well, but not to the extent I have in the older parts so I wanted to start there and we picked up something like Carbon Filters or Chick Peas at a place called Smuggler's Inn in Slice of Life.
Well I wasn't paying any attention and the place I picked to deliver those things to was Belli Fuel in Stjarnhamn.
I think this map shows the problem.
Bus Party Crashing

She did take a couple of nasty spills, after all. We all did. and OMG was it fun!!
Ok so here's the SLuggle version. I log in at like noon and there's a brand new notice in one of my favorite social groups about a BBB embassy thing.
So I put on a gown and went and it wasn't a gown thing at all. It was a bus ride around someplace.
And OMG was it ever fun!!
I was thinking we were riding a bus to a party where my gown would come in handy, but again, I was mistaken and it was an embassy bus tour to get passport stamps.
I stopped collecting stamps a while ago because, well, you all know me- adding another HUD to mess up is not going to help anything, I can barely handle changing the color on my couch. But I had such a good time anyway!!!
We had three buses full of wonderful people, and it was coordinated by my friend Yukiko Yeshto, who does a bus tour around various places and it truly is fun.
Because there were so many people, they had special guest bus drivers who bravely tried to steer rowdy stamp collectors around through winding roads and region crossings.
The bus I was on crashed into a copse of trees almost immediately and then it was the most hilarious series of spins and rolls and group angst ever. I laughed nonstop. Honest to goodness, this was so much more fun than a club, best entertainment choice I could have made.
We ALL had a blast, except the drivers probably, but I do hope they know how much fun they brought us all!
I think we had at least 24 people on the bus I was on at one point, it was FULL of names. I don't know how many of the buses finished the route, by the end we'd had at least one bus change and a couple of teleports from the edge of a region back on board, and people got off and rode horses and stole motorcycles and all kindsa crazy fun things.
It truly was a blast. Thank you BBB and thank you Yukiko!!
Here's a throwback to another of Yukiko's tours!
Bellisseria Survival Guide Vol 2- Game of Homes

It's probably not a surprise to those that know me that I end up in a lotta different conversations with people during the course of a day and the two top questions I get from people new to Belli are "There are parties?" and "What's GoH?"
Thusly, this is the second in a series intended to welcome the influx of new people to Bellisseria that annually follows the release of the free Lelutka heads.
I am not an expert on anything except putting my foot in my mouth, so keep that in mind, but here's the still-accurate Vol I- The Guide to Parties over here.
Now, I had hoped to have a much more detailed article here for you- and that part is probably no surprise to readers- BUT this time the reason is because I'M STILL DOING RESEARCH!
I know, I too was surprised I could use the word "research" for once and not feel shame.
Anyway- I WILL write a longer story about my own Game of Homes experience but it's ongoing so stay tuned but in the meantime, this was just intended to tell noobies to Belli about GoH.
GoH stands for Game of Homes and it's used when people are constantly trying to land the best house ever by rolling the dice at secondlife.com
First- you probably already know that there are many different "styles" to choose from- Traditional, Houseboats, Victorians, Log Homes, Stilt Homes, Chalets, Fantasy Homes and now, soonish, modern homes. All of these are 1024 parcels, so a premium account covers it.
There are also adorable campers that are only 512, but inexplicably you can only own one.
Pick one that reflects how you like to spend your time in Belli.
I loved to boat around Belli and had just bought a plane, so I decided to cash in my log home for a house where I can park them right outside. I wrote about it here. I was so excited for that houseboat and it was absolutely the perfect location for both.
But it was a long way from the central part of Bellisseria, the Fairgrounds, so I rolled again. And landed an incredible location right near the Fairgrounds.
Well that jazzed me up so much I got a second account to become premium and after a few rolls landed a house that is now the Riverbridge Café. Wanna see a great house lot?
You Have Mail!

I haven't written anything about Bellisseria in ages and believe me it's not for lack of activity, there's a bazillion things going on right now with Belli and all the great people in it and I do plan to cover some of it as soon as I unpack all this crazy stuff from the ShopnHop!
I wanted to pause a moment though and send some love out to my friends at the BBB and try to get the word out about this new post system they have created. It really is cool and my friend Ghost says this is just the beginning of it.
I kicked the tires on it last week and of course I ran into issues because it's me, but for the most part it all worked very well once you take my becca-generated errors out of the equation. You go to a post office, click the mailbox, say who you want to send to, if everything is ok then you ctrl-drag a transferable object on the mailbox and your friend will get mail!
In addition, the BBB (Bellisseria Bureau of Bureaucracy) has made a lil holiday greeting card kit that you can use and customize to send holiday cards to your mailbox-owning Bellisseria friends.
It really is fun. You set up a free mailbox at your home (and set your land to allow the experience!) and if someone sends you mail it tells you, which happened to me the other day when I had friends over and we all squealed as I clicked the card and it read itself out loud.
Now, these are very smart people so they already know you can just drag and drop stuff on people without the mail system. This is about community.
It's a crazy but silly thrill to see that you have mail waiting for you when you get home, and I think that any event or device that brings Bellisserians into a closer sense of community, and makes them want to go check in if not hang out at their Belli home is great.
When we all took to the streets of Belli for Trick or Treating this year it was literally one of my favorite events in 16 years of this crazy world, so if we can get more feels like that around the holidays or Valentine's day or my rez day (haha) then I'm all for it and sending and receiving greetings is a fun step in the right direction.
As I said, my friend Ghost is running with this project and says that it will never be finished, always improving and changing and I just love that spirit (pun intended if you know Ghost's avatar). Shoutout also to Boo who has had to answer all my pesky questions for days on this, and both of whom give all this time it takes to do this stuff freely because they love Belli as much as we all do.
And for that, I will always take the time to help too :)
I'm sure there are a lot of great people behind the scenes doing great things for free that I'm not mentioning because we all know I'm like the fourth worst blogger in the history if western thought, and instead of actual research I tip my fatpack hats to them all for their work and feel we owe the coders and the designers for their efforts that bring cool things like this and the passports.
So, to get started, go to one of the BBB Post offices. You can get the mailboxes and the Holiday Card Kit there.
